Poster Submission Instruction

  • Poster session time: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
  • Location: Duffield Atrium
  • Submission Deadline: Thursday, April 10, 2025, 11:59 PM

We invite both undergraduate and graduate students as well as project teams from Cornell Engineering to submit posters on Simulation and/or Design in any area of engineering for presentation at our upcoming event, KK Wang Industry Day on Simulation and Design Education. The event is co-sponsored by Ansys, Autodesk and eCornell. This event will bring together Cornell faculty/students and industry partners to discuss trends in simulation and design and how we can work together to respond to the needs of the community in closing the skills gaps in the age of AI. Industry partners will be tabling to showcase their initiatives. Join us for an engaging opportunity to showcase your research and projects, connect with industry professionals, and contribute to advancing the field.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Posters must be submitted in .pdf, .jpeg, .jpg, or .png format.
  • Recommended dimensions: 36 inches tall by 48 inches wide.
  • Minimum size: 36” x 36”
  • Maximum size: 42” tall x 48” wide
  • For poster printing resources, visit Mann Library.
  • Cost of the poster is being sponsored by Cornell Engineering Career Center

Review & Presentation:

  • A review committee will examine the content of your poster.
  • If accepted, you will receive setup instructions a few days before the event.
  • You must attend in-person during the scheduled session to present your work.
  • All participants: please register for this event by heading to this RSVP form and fill out your information.
  • Multiple submissions as first author are allowed, but each poster must have a unique presenter.
  • If your submission includes a physical prototype demonstration, we will follow up regarding space constraints.
  • At the end of the event, industry guests will judge and award prizes for top poster presentations. 

Prizes for Top Poster and Simulation Designs

  • 1st Prize – $500
  • 2nd Prize – $300
  • 3rd Prize – $200
