Closing the skills gaps in simulation and design in the age of AI

Event Overview

This industry day on April 17th 2025 will bring together Cornell faculty, students, staff and alumni as well as industry partners to discuss how we can work together to respond to the needs of the community in closing the skills gaps in simulation and design in the age of AI. Innovations and opportunities in degree programs as well as workforce development offerings will be relevant to the discussions. Industry partners will be tabling during the breaks to showcase their initiatives and connect with faculty and students. The event will be very interactive with panels, a breakout session, tabling, reception as well as student showcase and poster session. There will be lots of opportunities to provide input and build connections. Some of the companies attending are Anduril Industries, Ansys, Autodesk, ASML, Corning, Dominion Engineering, Johnson & Johnson, Moog, SpaceX, etc.
